2 cups brown sugar

115g softened butter

2 eggs

1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 ½ cups flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 heaped teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chocolate chips

½ chopped pecan nuts

Pre-heat oven to 180Oc

Line baking sheet

Beat butter, sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 min)

Add eggs, mix till well blended

Add vanilla

Mix all dry ingredients

Add sugar and butter to the mixture, mix on medium

Add chocolate chips

Drop spoonful’s on a baking sheet, don’t flatten them.

Bake until lightly browned on top, 10 minutes.

Cool on the pan on rack for 1minute then transfers to a rack to cool.
